Steve Koyama Realtor, Principal Broker Specialization Steve specializes in representing his clients in the purchasing and selling of Hawaii real estate and working to keep current on the real estate market and matters concerning real estate. Property Management services also available. Personal Steve was born and raised on the Central Coast of California. He worked on the family farm and spent as much time as he could on sporting activities such as fishing, judo, wrestling and motorcycling. After graduating from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in Agricultural Business Management,he became a full time Farmer, but after several years, he made a decision to depart from the Agricultural Business Career and lifetsyle, and subsequently made the decision to relocate to Hawaii. After moving to Hawaii in 1988 he became a full time real estate agent and joined a large family run real estate brokerage business on the Windward Side of the Island of Oahu, in the town of Kailua. From there he learned about the real estate business and the cooperation among fellow real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and escrow for successful transactions. He then worked with another real estate brokerage company in Honolulu that eventually closed their business, prompting him to either join another company or start his own brokerage company. From that time in 1991, Koyama Realty was started and has successfully continued since. Apart from his work, Steve enjoys participating, volunteering, and giving of his time and energy through various social and community service, groups and organizations, such as the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, The Japan America Society of Hawaii, The Rotary Club of Waikiki and Rotary International. ![]() Current hobbies and interests of his include golfing, exercising, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. |
